Eddy Cue joins Duke College’s Board of Trustees

At age 56, Eddy Cue goes again to high school. Sort of. Cue, who’s Apple’s senior vp of Web Software program and Providers, has been introduced a member of the Duke College Board of Trustees, college officers introduced Thursday.

Cue attended Duke within the Nineteen Eighties, learning laptop science and economics. Duke has performed an enormous half in his life. Not solely did he meet his spouse there, however each his sons, Adam and Spencer, studied laptop science at Duke. Cue is an enormous fan of Duke basketball and attends most of the video games. He has beforehand been concerned with the Duke Know-how Scholar program, encouraging girls to check laptop science and electrical engineering.

Cue will be part of a number of others in his new place on the Duke Board of Trustees. As a board trustee, Cue will use his expertise to assist information Duke’s “academic mission and monetary insurance policies.”

Eddy Cue isn’t the one high-profile Apple exec to have attended Duke College. Whereas Tim Cook dinner attended Auburn College for his Bachelor of Science, he attended Duke’s Fuqua College of Enterprise for his MBA. Nevertheless, so far as I’m conscious, there was no overlap with Cue.
